Two big weather stories these next two days: Heavy rain/flooding potential and record warm temperatures! One wave of low pressure rides through the Ohio Valley Wednesday, triggering rain along with some strong thunderstorms. Numerous showers and storms continue Wednesday night into Thursday as yet another system arrives. Anywhere from 2-4" of rain is likely by Thursday night. Strong south winds will help send readings into record territory Wednesday and Thursday (low to mid-70s)! As the cold front finally passes through late Thursday, we will see a nearly 40° drop in temperature which may change any leftover rain to a brief period of snow Friday morning. The weekend starts much colder, but temperatures rebound by Sunday. More rain is likely early next week, however.
