We've warmed from highs in the 60s Monday to highs reaching the lower 90s Thursday! Expect the very warm, humid air to stick around through the weekend. Rain chances stay very slim through Sunday afternoon, with skies staying mostly sunny by day and fair to partly cloudy by night.

In the meantime, concern lies with Hurricane Florence, a slow-moving storm which has worked its way on shore in the Carolinas. Clouds and moisture from the outer periphery of Florence could affect our area Monday into Tuesday with showers possible. We will continue to track the eventual path of this storm throughout the weekend and into next week.
