Franklin-Simpson's Randolph looks forward to playing for Louisville after high school

FRANKLIN — As Franklin-Simpson High School returned to the practice fields this week with the goal of defending its Class 4A state championship, the Wildcats will be relying on several key returning players from last season.

Senior offensive lineman Jack Randolph will be one of the leaders.

He committed to Louisville in April while holding several scholarship offers.

"It feels good to be committed to a D1 school like that," Randolph said. "It's obviously really exciting, but it's definitely a lot of pressure on me and off me at the same time to be able to perform and keep performing at that level. But I'll be able to take it well.

"I'm really excited about the facilities and the staff – just the whole overall, even the academics are nice. Everything is really together as a group and it really stood out to me."

Randolph is considered a three-star prospect by 247sports.
