Great turnout for the Delta Zeta Wing Wars
The second annual Wing Wars Eating Competition, put on by the Delta Zeta chapter, was held at the Christian Student Fellowship House at WKU's campus.
14 teams participated raising over $3,000 for the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
WBKO's meteorologist Shane Holinde was apart of the celebrity contest and finished in second place.
The chapter said they love seeing not only fraternities and sororities getting involved, but people in the community as well.
"It's really great to see everyone have so much fun at an event that we're trying to plan," Lauren Christman, Vice President of Philanthrophy at Delta Zeta said. "One of my main goals is for it to just be a really good time for everyone and for everyone participating."
The Delta Zeta chapter's goal is to have one big event every semester and next semester they're working on holding a softball tournament.
