BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Bowling Green Junior High School hosted their annual Halloween Costume Contest on Monday as a fundraiser for their Journalism Department.

As the Purples roamed the halls, Principal Cynthia West couldn't help but notice some of the teachers' costumes as well.

"The 6th grade teachers were Snapchat filters, the 7th grade teachers were Pacman, and the 8th grade teachers had a Dr. Suess theme."

The students with the most creative costumes receive a prize at the end of the day.

Bowling Green Halloween starts at 4:00 pm and ends at 7:00 Monday night.
