HOPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -- Kentucky State Police have arrested a Hopkinsville man for assault 1st degree and carrying a concealed weapon after they say he ran over a woman with his vehicle.

On December 21, 2017 KSP responded to a call of a woman who had been ran over by a vehicle.

Through investigation, troopers say Michael Wolff, 21 of Hopkinsville, ran over Ashley Rivera-Mena, 33 of Nortonville, with his vehicle after a verbal altercation in Mannington, KY.

Troopers say Rivera-Mena was transported to Baptist Health Madisonville, where she was then transported by helicopter to a hospital in Evansville, Indiana for non-life threatening injuries.
