GUSTON, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Broadbent Wildlife Sanctuary in Meade County is welcoming a new permanent resident, Houdini the Goat.

The legendary I-65 goat managed to dodge speeding traffic, while living for over five years alongside the interstate in Hardin County.

Houdini was involved in a traffic accident in October.

He was captured and put in the care of Hardin County Animal Care & Control with a broken leg. He's healing and has a limp, but officials say he is "enjoying his freedom" and "is in good spirits."
