Inmate escapes from Warren County Jail on Sunday night

According to Warren County Jailer Stephen Harmon, the name of the escaped inmate is Benjamin Pedigo.

Anyone with information on where he may be is asked to call 911 or Kentucky State Police at 270-782-2010.

According to the jail's website, Pedigo was in jail for several charges including tampering with physical evidence, fleeing or evading police 2nd degree on foot, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia - buy/possess, and failure to appear.

A male inmate escaped from the Warren County Jail a little after 9:00 p.m. on Sunday night, according to BGPD.

Police have not released the inmate's name at this time.

They say the escapee is 6'1, slim, with a brown mohawk and he is wearing a black jacket, with dark pants. He also has a bandage on his hand.

According to BGPD, Kentucky State Police is now the agency taking charge in the investigation. KSP is at the jail trying to learn information at this time.

As soon as officials release the escapee's name we will update this story with his mugshot.
