Judge denies Commonwealth's request in Slim Nash DUI case

Gene Birk Bowling Green City Commissioner Brian "Slim" Nash wins a battle in his DUI court case.

On October 23, 2017 the Warren District Court granted Nash's motion to prohibit footage of the field sobriety tests requiring use of his legs to be entered as evidence because Nash had had multiple knee surgeries.

Nash's attorney, Alan Simpson, said the court ruled that because of Nash's medical condition those tests should not have been performed and are inadmissible.

The Commonwealth sought to have that decision overturned, but their request was denied by Warren Circuit Judge John Grise Tuesday November 21, 2017.
