If you've ever imagined yourself getting into law enforcement, now's your chance.

Kentucky State Police Post 3 in Bowling Green is hosting a town hall meeting from 6:00-8:00 p.m. this Thursday at Warren East High School for the purpose of hiring new recruits. People of all ages are invited to the town hall to learn how to become a state trooper.

"What the requirements are," explained KSP Post 3 Public Information Officer B.J. Eaton, "the hiring process, what the academy's gonna be like, what a career with the state police is."

Trooper Eaton says all ages are invited to attend the town hall but to apply to be a trooper you must by 21 by the time you graduate from the academy. No college credits are required, but you must have a high school diploma.
