UPDATE: KSP investigating Muhlenberg County homicide

According to Kentucky State Police, Rickie Jones has been located and is now lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center, charged with murder.

Officials say they found Jones in a camping trailer in Rumsey, Kentucky around 3:45 p.m. on Sunday afternoon.

Kentucky State Police Post 2 is investigating a homicide in Muhlenberg County.

Officials say it happened sometime between 9:00 p.m. Friday, November 3, and 7:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4.

Police say a man was found dead in his front yard at his home at 556 State Route 2270 East.

According to a preliminary investigation officials say 37 year old, Tony Faith, was in a verbal altercation Friday night with his 59 year old neighbor, Rickie Jones.

Reports say Faith's wife says as she was going to bed and watched her husband walk back outside to re-confront Jones. Then Saturday morning, she found her husband's body in the yard.

Kentucky State Police says Rickie Jones is on the run and was seen on camera buying items from the Even Steven convenience store in Daviess County.

Troopers say Jones is possibly driving a gold or tan Toyota Camry.

KSP says Jones has a history of mental illness and are asking for anyone with information on where he may be to call police at (270) 676- 3313.

According to the description from police, Jones should be considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached.

Police describe Jones as a white male, around 6'6'', 300 pounds, gray hair, and blue eyes.

The investigation is still ongoing and more information will be released as it becomes available.
