KSP's "Cram a Cruiser" in full swing for this holiday season

Kentucky State Police's "Cram the Cruiser" is in full swing as all 16 posts are now accepting donations. This is their 8th annual giving event and it will run through December 11.

Collections for sites for donations have been establish all throughout the State.

Suggested donations include non-expired canned fruit and vegetables, canned meat, macaroni and cheese, cereal, peanut butter, jelly, canned soups, chili or spaghetti sauce, brownie and cake mixes, coffee, water, powdered milk and juices.

The food will be distributed to local shelters, churches or other organizations in the areas where they are collected​.

Last year, your donations 339,656 pounds of food were donated from individuals, businesses, school groups, social clubs, scout troops and civic organizations throughout the state​, according to KSP Spokesman, Lt. Michael Webb.
