KY Highway Dept. preps for snow again
Our ever-changing weather has the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet preparing to clear our roads again.
District 3 Public Information Officer, Wes Watt, expected the event to come in as rain first, then said the wind would blow the rain off the roads, and the snow would start. And he warned that bridges and overpasses freeze first.
"And that's something that we will definitely hit either tonight or first thing in the morning," said Watt, "because those will freeze before the roadways. So people just need to be mindful of that."
Watt also says crews in all our surrounding counties are prepared to be called out tonight or early tomorrow morning to clear the roads for you.
