Kentucky Women in Agriculture annual conference

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - The Kentucky Women in Agriculture held their annual conference Monday at the National Corvette Museum to serve up some knowledge about hunger in Kentucky.

Helena Pitecock, the president of Kentucky Women in Agriculture, says those who are hungry in Kentucky don't fall under one stereotype.

"They think it's a stigmatism, or they think that it's just a certain class of people, but it really affects the elderly, young, even people that are middle class that maybe a life changing event has happened."

The Kentucky Women of Agriculture will end the conference by volunteering at HOTEL Inc.
