According to a new report, Kentucky's state highway system ranks near the top in the nation when it comes to cost-effectiveness.
The Reason Foundation's Annual Highway Report ranks the state highway systems in 11 categories including spending per mile, pavement conditions, traffic congestion, and fatality rates.
Kentucky came in at 13, while North Dakota took the top spot.
New Jersey came in last.
