BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Although we don't have the Chicago River here locally, that's not keeping people from celebrating Saint Patrick's Day!
Bowling Green's very own "Preservation Tasting Room and Bottle Shop" is celebrating with drinks, live music and an Irish staple, Shepherd's Pie!
The aroma of the food prepared by Brayden Apple of River Cottage Farms with locally grown produce from his farm and the Irish music from a live performance by Skip Cleavenger and Rebecca Baumbach, filled the room.
"We like to collaborate with people like Preservation. They have, you know, an understanding of local businesses working together is just a beneficial thing for everyone," said Apple.
"St. Patricks Day is tomorrow and we're not open on Sunday," said Dan Chaney, manager of Preservation Tasting Room and Bottle Shop. "but this is definitely the St. Patrick's Day celebration."
The luck of the Irish comes to Preservation for the second time this year. They say this event was one of their favorites they hosted last year.
