Bowling Green to experiment with traffic signal changes
Stop signs are going to be replacing traffic lights in certain areas of Bowling Green starting Wednesday, January 31.
The City of Bowling Green Works Department is working on two 90 day traffic studies.
Traffic signals at the intersection of 8th and College and the intersection of 8th and State Street will be replaced with stop signs.
City officials say the lights will be set to flashing red for the first week to help drivers adapt to the new way of stopping.
