Louisville Hires Satterfield As Head Football Coach

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) --- The University of Louisville officially announced Scott Satterfield as the Cardinals new head football coach Tuesday.

Satterfield takes over the Cardinals head football coaching position from Bobby Petrino, who was fired on November 11. The Cardinals went 2-10 in 2018, finishing on a nine-game losing streak.

satterfield had spent the six seasons as the head coach at Appalachian State, leading the Mountaineers to a 10-2 record during the 2018 season.
