A Louisville man has been sentenced to 121 months in prison for sex trafficking of a minor.

Officials say, 27-year-old Keith L. Napier Jr. admitted to them that at the beginning of March of 2016 in Jefferson County, he asked "Jane Doe", a 14-year-old female, if she could help him earn money to pay off debts, by performing sex acts.

Napier had seen "Jane Doe", and knew her real age.

Authorities say, that from March 2016 through May 2016, Napier would take Jane Doe to and from appointments with clients for commercial sex.

Napier advertised the commercial sex acts on the internet website, Backpage.com, and they would often times take place at hotels.

Officials say the investigation was opened during a prostitution sting that coincided with the Kentucky Derby when Louisville Metro Police Officers found a listing on the website.

Napier has been sentenced to 121 months in prison.
