LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WBKO)-- It wasn't the prettiest of games but it was a win for the Louisville Cardinals as they defeated Nicholls State in their home opener 85-72 Thursday night.

Steven Enoch led the Cardinals with 15 points and added 8 rebounds, but maybe the biggest winner for UofL came at the charity stripe. Louisville was 42 of 55 from the free throw line.

The KFC Yum! Center is host to the NIT Season Tip-Off next week.

Louisville hosts Southern Tuesday.
