MORGANTOWN, Ky. (WBKO) -- The man accused of killing a Butler County pastor and his wife in August of 2016 takes an Alford Plea. That means Kevin Dye does not admit guilt but believes the evidence against him strongly indicates his guilt and his interests are best served by a guilty plea.
Dye was accused of killing Kenneth and Dorothy Neafus who were both found dead in their Morgantown home on Richland Church Road. Kenneth was the former pastor of Little Muddy Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
At his sentencing hearing on February 28, 2019 it's expected Dye will receive two terms of Life Without the Possibility of Parole.
