Man found by roadside in Hart County arrested on several drug-related charges

HART COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Hart County Sheriff's Office arrested a man Saturday on several drug-related charges.

According to the sheriff's office, Deputy Caleb Butler and Sheriff Jeff Wilson responded to the 6000 block of North Dixie Highway in Hart County in regards to a suspicious man laying next to the road.

Officials arrested the man, identified as 41-year-old Jacob Oldham for possession of a controlled substance 1st degree, 1st offense (methamphetamine), public intoxication-controlled substance (excludes alcohol), and drug paraphernalia- buy/possess.

Officials say Oldham was also charged with promoting contraband 1st degree for having meth hidden on his person after being taken to the Hart County Jail.
