RUSSELLVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -- The Logan County Sheriff's Department says they arrested a Russellville man for drug possession.

Officials say on Saturday, February 3, they responded to a call of a prowler in the area of East 6th Street.

Russellville Police Department advised County officials that the suspect left the scene and was traveling on foot.

Logan County Sheriff's Department says the man was later identified as Stacy Hutchison.

Officials say when they made contact with Hutchison, they asked him to show his hands and he refused. They say he was then restrained but continued to resist.

The department says they found paraphernalia in Hutchison's pocket and also suspected cocaine that was thrown when contact was originally made.

Hutchison is facing charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of paraphernalia, tampering with evidence, and resisting arrest.
