GLASGOW, Ky, (WBKO) - A manufacturer of custom printed uniforms, flags, and accessories for marching bands will invest more than $1.1 million in Barren County.
A press release from Governor Matt Bevin's office says My Visual Package will create 30 full-time jobs in Barren County:
“Startups like MVP play an instrumental role in Kentucky’s economic success, particularly when they enter markets as a single-stop provider for all their customers’ needs,” said Gov. Bevin.
State lawmakers, the mayor of Glasgow, and Barren County Judge Executive also shared their excitement:
“I am pleased to welcome My Visual Package, LLC to Glasgow,” he said. “The location of this company in Glasgow is yet another indication of Kentucky’s ability to foster entrepreneurial spirits, and I congratulate MVP on the opening of its new facility,” said Sen. David Givens, of Greensburg.
“It is great to see startups like My Visual Package opening up shop in Glasgow. We welcome MVP and wish them great success in a manufacturing-resurgent Kentucky,” said Rep. Steve Riley, of Glasgow.
“I am excited to see others interested in our community and willing to invest their own money. We are equally excited about the diversification this company brings to Glasgow and Barren County. It’s always great to see startup businesses and we are humbled that they have chosen our community to begin their business,” said Glasgow Mayor Dick Doty.
“Barren County welcomes MVP to our industrial community. We look forward to working with MVP to secure excellent job opportunities for our community. We anticipate a very cooperative and supportive business relationship for many years to come,” said Barren County Judge-Executive Micheal Hale.
The company will be in a 15,000-square-foot facility on Grandview Avenue in Glasgow.
