Men prepare to bike across the country while raising awareness for Alzheimer"s Disease
Fiji Fraternity members held a fundraising event today at Bike Rack Bistro in Bowling Green.
The men are raising money before they pedal off in San Francisco tomorrow.
What began in 2010, has developed into an annual event, raising over $200,000 in an effort to research and end a disease that affects over 5.5 million Americans.
"Our whole premise for doing this ride is to raise money for Alzheimer's," says bike rider and Fiji member, Jonathan Greene.
The seven men taking part in the ride, plan to average 70 miles a day while gone.
