Some men at WKU are putting on some heels walking on the hill, in an effort to bring awareness of sexual assault and gender violence.

"Walk-A-Mile in Her Shoes" is the 9th annual event that is raising awareness to this issue on college campuses.

Men participate by wearing high heels up the hill to Cherry Hall and back down to Centennial Mall, making it one mile in total.

"We have fraternity men from each organization, we also have non-fraternity men that will wear high heels and they will walk up the hill here on campus and then they will walk back down," said Benjamin Hopper, President of the Inter-Fraternity Council at WKU.

Heel sizes ranged from size 8 to 15.

All money that is raised, including donations, will do to Hope Harbor, in Bowling Green, that offers counseling and support to victims of sexual assault.
