UPDATE: Monroe County boil water advisory lifted

TOMPKINSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) - UPDATE: The Kentucky Division of Water has lifted the November 28 boil water advisory as of 8:30 a.m. Nov. 30.


A main six inch water line break has caused a boil water advisory for around 36 Monroe County Water District customers.

The customers affected are on and along Main Street beginning at Holland Street to Gamaliel Beauty Supply. The advisory includes Factory Street, Washington Street, Napier Street, Woodland Street and Agers Street.

Those affected should bring water to a boil for at least three minutes.

The advisory will continue until after sample results are received.
