Rain fell in Bowling Green for a second straight day as thunderstorms rolled through around midday. The possibility for some getting wet continues as the work week comes to a close. Some storms on Friday may contain locally heavy rainfall, gusty winds, and dangerous lightning once again. As the front over our region washes out over the weekend, the chances for rain go down, with just a few isolated thundershowers possible Saturday and Sunday. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 80s through the weekend. At this time, Monday and Tuesday appear mainly dry before storm chances climb again toward the middle of next week.
