It's lights, camera., action in Hart County this week.

The fledgling Southern Kentucky Film Commission has brought Hollywood to Hart County to shoot a film about the Amish to appear on the Hallmark Channel.

Sanford Hampton and Branscombe Richmond are the film's producers. They say the heart of Kentucky is primed to be a hotbed for future movies.

"There's a lot of young filmmakers that are up and coming that want to be here, said Branscombe. "And we're here to assist them and they're here to assist us."

The producers both say they plan on making several more movies in southern Kentucky. And Hart County Judge-Executive Terry Martin says that means lots of jobs and lots of revenue coming into the area.
