FORDSVILLE, Ky. (WBKO) -- While attempting to serve a warrant on a probation violation in Fordsville, the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office says deputies observed crystal methamphetamine in plain view.
Officials say the investigation resulted in the arrest of a Fordsville couple Tuesday afternoon.
Upon taking the homeowner into custody, Ohio County detectives obtained consent to search the rest of the home.
That search revealed methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
The suspect and another occupant of the home were taken into custody without incident.
Robert Leary, 52, and Candy Allgood, 35, both of Fordsville were arrested and charged with one (1) count of Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree (methamphetamine), and one (1) count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
They were taken to the Ohio County Jail.
The Ohio County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Kentucky State Police.
