The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet confirmed early Tuesday morning that a semi-truck overturned on the Natcher Parkway northbound.

Below is a direct statement from KYTC Public Information Officer Wes Watt sent to 13 News at around 7:25 a.m.:

“Around 6 a.m. crews were notified of an overturned tanker truck impacting the Natcher Parkway northbound direction just north of the Interstate 65 ramp onto the parkway near Three Springs Road in Bowling Green. The crash occurred in a construction zone where the parkway is down to one lane while resurfacing is ongoing. We moved traffic to the lane that was under construction in that area to keep the traffic flow moving. There was no spill associated with the crash. Cleanup crews and towing company are onsite and we expect to have everything cleaned up in the next hour or so. “

A reporter is going out on scene to assess the damage and traffic flow.

We will provide updates on this story as they become available.
