UPDATE: 08/12/2017 2:00 PM
The plane that crashed on Cross Winds Golf Course Saturday morning was owned by Dorian and Elaine Walker, who is a former Mayor of Bowling Green. The pilot was Terry Richardson.
Richardson, a retired Captain in the Navy, is a very experienced pilot.
The plane was used for Friends of Jenny, a non-profit organization formed to remind us of the importance of the Curtiss JN-4 Jenny biplane, which was most widely known for barnstorming when it became the first mass produced aircraft flight trainer during World War I.
