GREENSBURG, Ky. (WBKO) -- Three high school boys are facing sexual assault charges after an alleged incident on December 9.
Greensburg Police say the three boys are facing charges of sexual assault third degree and harassment through physical touching.
The Green County School Board conducted their own investigation of the incident, before handing it over to the police.
Superintendent Jim Frank says students have been, and will continue to be their number one concern.
"Our main priority is the safety of our students," he says, "and we'll make sure that we do everything to protect the students. If it's called for, we'll act as swiftly as possible."
Frank says he knows people will draw their own conclusions, but that people should not believe everything they read on social media.
