GLASGOW, Ky. (WBKO) -- Kentucky leaders and employers filled a conference room at SKYCTC's Glasgow campus to discuss career pathway development plans for future hires.
As the attendees listened to regional employers, explained different practices to each other for career success options, and explored opportunities to align and integrate regional career action plans.
Barren County Judge Executive Micheal Hale says meetings like this strengthen opportunities for future employees.
"It's very important that educators and industry sit down and understand exactly what the skill that is needed to be taught in our school systems. Bringing people together like this to brainstorm and come up with ideas just to see, you know, there may be a good idea out there," Judge Hale stated.
The career pathway regional meeting continued in to the Wednesday afternoon as well, and added needs and opportunities in action planning towards the discussion.
