Salmonella outbreak reaches Kentucky

The Center for Disease Control says a total of 92 people have been infected so far in a salmonella outbreak, and it has made its way to Kentucky.

THE CDC points to evidence that many types of raw chicken products from a variety of sources are contaminated.

People who have fallen ill report eating different types and brands of chicken products. No one supplier has been identified.

No deaths have been reported but 21 peole have been hospitalized.

So far only one person has been infected in the state.
