Scottsville Police Department K9 retires

The Scottsville Police Department announced the retirement of K9 Umo Monday morning.

A post on the department's Facebook page said the 9-year-old canine has medical issues that led to his retirement. The post said Umo had served the department well in combating illegal drugs and as a tracking dog.

K9 Morgan is now the active K9 for the Scottsville Police Department.
