WARREN COUNTY, Kentucky (WBKO) -- The Warren County Sheriff's Office has recently taken calls for service and investigated at least two separate scam incidents.

The caller identified himself as an employee of the Social Security Administration and is advising citizens that their Social Security checks will be terminated due to evidence of illegal activity.

The caller is telling citizens that they have warrants for their arrest and asking for money.

Sheriff "Jerry" Peanuts Gaines again urges citizens of Warren County to be vigilant while speaking with someone who asks for money and discusses warrants over the phone. If you receive a call of this nature, please contact us at (270)842-1633
