The passage of a cold front signals a change in our weather pattern for late week. We catch a small break from high temperatures and humidity levels Thursday through Friday morning thanks to northeast winds. The break from the heat is short-lived, though. We'll jump right back into the low to even mid 90s for Father's Day weekend. Heat indices could top out in the triple digits both weekend days, the hottest we've felt so far this season! At this time, we look mainly dry through Father's Day before chances for thunderstorms return with a new system closing in on the area early next week.
