UPDATE: Rockfield man arrested after standoff lasts 9 hours, ends peacefully

WARREN COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) -- UDPATE: Warren County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a domestic violence call in the 2500 block of Fuqua Road at 9:38 a.m. Monday September 16. Deputies found 69-year-old Eddie D. Bryant of Rockfield, who was armed and had locked himself in the residence.

After nearly nine hours of negotiation, deputies were able to resolve the standoff peacefully, and arrested Bryant, charging him with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree, Cultivating Marijuana < 5 Plants - 1st Offense, Terroristic Threatening 3rd Degree, and Possession of a Defaced Firearm. He was taken to the Warren County Regional Jail.


According to the Warren County Sheriff's Department, a standoff that lasted about nine hours ends peacefully with one arrest.

Officials say the standoff occurred at a residence in the 2500 block of Fuqua road in Rockfield.

Authorities say the alleged suspect was armed, their identity has not been released.

But law enforcement says no one was injured.
