BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) --- The Bowling Green Fire Department sent 25 personnel and 7 firetrucks to a report of a fire at Kobe Aluminum around 9:40 pm Sunday night.
"We did arrive to find molten aluminum and machinery on fire inside of the plant, with assistance from plant personnel we were able to control the fire," said Assistant Fire Chief Doug Morris.
The cause of the fire is unknown and is currently being investigated. There were no injuries reported.
Bowling Green Police have confirmed a structure fire at Kobe Aluminum in Bowling Green.
We have a reporter on scene who says there is a heavy fire department presence and several employees are standing outside.
An employee says the fire is contained and there are no injuries.
