BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) -- Republicans and democrats are making a final push, campaigning for various candidates running in Tuesday's election.
On Monday night, several republican leaders gathered at Highland Stables in Warren County for a "Get Out the Vote Rally for the Republican Party."
Likewise, democratic leaders and volunteers have been encouraging a "Get Out the Vote" campaign for democrats.
According to Charlene Rabold, chair of the Warren County Democratic Executive Committee, this is the first year Warren County has opted to not set up an official Democratic Headquarters. Instead, she said volunteers have been showing up at a call bank to support individual candidates.
"We had a program that was designed here by the Boots on the Ground campaign people and they had expected it to last for four days. They covered in the first day what they expected to do in three days so that says we had tons of volunteers and every event that we've had. We've had lots of new faces," she said.
Rabold said the space volunteers are working out of is possibly one of the busiest in the state of Kentucky.
"We've been told that we've done an excellent job with Getting Out the Vote in this area because we know we have very important races in this particular area," she added.
Polls in Warren County open at 6:00 a.m. Tuesday and close at 6:00 p.m.
