Two people are taken to the hospital when tractor trailers collide.

Pascal Ngabo was driving his tractor trailer South on I-69, and Perry Maner was driving his behind Ngabo.

Ngabo rapidly slowed, and tried to make an illegal u-turn. Maner was unable to avoid hitting Ngabo.

Maner was transporting anhydrous ammonia, and when the two trailers hit, the anhydrous tanker was damaged.

Maner and Ngabo were taken by ambulance to Baptist Health Madisonville for non-life threatening injuries.

The Hopkins County Sheriff’s Office was assisted on scene by the Kentucky State Police Vehicle Enforcement Section, Med Center Ambulance Service, South Hopkins Fire Department, Madisonville Fire Department, Hopkins County Emergency Management and the E.P.A.
