LEXINGTON, Ky. (WBKO) -- According to the University of Kentucky, a sophomore student from Glasgow has been arrested in connection with safety threats at the university.
Officials say 19-year-old Haily Duvall has been charged with second-degree terroristic threatening and filing a false police report.
The UK police chief says Duvall contacted them Wednesday to report threats being distributed through Snapchat.
Safety officials say they never believed the threats were credible, but were able to use evidence to find the location in Lexington, where those threats were coming from.
Duvall is in the Fayette Detention Center and is expected to arraigned Thursday afternoon. Officials say she could face additional federal charges, pending the outcome of further investigation.
