UPDATE: 3rd Arrest made in Barren County Murder Investigation

Late Wednesday night Kentucky State Police announced they had made a third arrest in the murder of 22-year-old KeShawn Sarver of Cave City.

KSP says after they obtained a warrant for the arrest of 22-year-old Devonja Sweat of Nashville, he was taken into custody by Nashville Metro Police and jailed in the Nashville Metro Detention Center in Davidson County, Tennessee.

Sweat is awaiting extradition to Barren County, KY to answer the charge of one count of Murder.


On Tuesday evening, KSP Post 3 detectives say they had arrested two individuals for participating in crimes relating to the death of 22-year old KeShawn L. Sarver.

Sarver was found dead in his Cave City apartment on Friday.

At 9:40 p.m. KSP said they arrested Inell Crayton (23), of Bowling Green, and Kayla Anderson (22), of Scottsville.

Officials tell us, Crayton was charged with one count of Murder, one count of Burglary 1st degree, and one count of Tampering with physical evidence.

They say Anderson, an acquaintance of Sarver’s, was charged with one count of Tampering with physical evidence.

Both have been put in the Barren County jail.

The investigation is still ongoing.
