Utility companies helping with hurricane relief efforts

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Bowling Green Municipal Utilities is going to Blakely, Georgia to help restore power after Hurricane Michael.

The utility is sending two crews consisting of a five person line crew and two person service crew.

They'll leave early Thursday.

Warren RECC is also sending 13 men and 9 vehicles to Georgia. They'll be leaving Thursday morning to help with storm cleanup.
