WKU hosts Bowling Green Idea Festival

Students and faculty at WKU hosted the Bowling Green Idea Festival Friday.

The event was held at the student union on WKU's campus. Students from 22 different school districts were invited to the event. The Idea Festival featured many different interactive exhibits including booths from places like Newton's Attic, Maker's Space, and many more.

Dr. Julia Roberts, one of the professors putting on the event, told WBKO: "It is such an important event to have Idea Festival Bowling Green. We do it because it focuses on creativity, innovation and we want to have people thinking in innovative ways all the time."

This is the third time WKU hosted the Idea Festival.The event also featured multiple speakers from the rise group. They explained to the students how to look for inspiration, choosing words wisely, and how to ask the right questions.
