WKU students bike riding across the country for Alzheimer's Disease
A group of WKU fraternity men are pedaling out of Bowling Green to raise money for a disease that is close to many people.
Members of the Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity, or FIJI, are bike riding across the country to raise money for Alzheimer's Disease.
They will ride from Seattle to Virginia Beach, the group says traveling nearly 3,600 miles.
"We have this time, we have this opportunity, we have our youth, we have our minds. And its the opportunity to go out and use what we've been blessed with," Bike4Alz President, Taylor Leigh said.
There are 12 bike riders, with two support vehicles driving along with them. The group has been preparing for this ride since the fall of 2014.
