Get ready for a very Spring-like pattern for much of this week. A series of disturbances will bring us unsettled weather with ongoing chances for rain, wind and even thunderstorms. Look for scattered showers ahead of a cold front Monday afternoon and evening. As the front stalls in the Tennessee Valley and returns north as a warm front late Tuesday, more rain is likely, along with a few thunderstorms with heavy rain Wednesday and Thursday. As the cold front finally passes through late Thursday, we will see a nearly 40° drop in temperature which may change any leftover rain to a brief period of snow Friday morning. The weekend will be cooler but closer to average temps.
