BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WBKO) - Impacting the lives of students and the community is a job school resource officers take very seriously. Wednesday morning, a crowd gathered at Warren East High School for Hope Harbor and Bowling Green Junior Woman's Club to recognize the winner of the 2017 Warren County 10-Star Award, Officer Mike Waldrop of the Warren County Sheriff's Department. Officer Waldrop has been the resource officer for Warren East High School since 2010.

"I'm very honored to be part of the Warren East community.
