...ENHANCED RISK OF SEVERE STORMS THURSDAY AFTERNOON...WIND ADVISORY THROUGH THURSDAY EVENING...

Windy and warm conditions continue Thursday along with two rounds of showers and thunderstorms. Round one will move through during the morning drive but none are expected to be severe. A second wave of thunderstorms ahead of a cold front could trigger strong to severe storms in the afternoon. If we get sunshine during the day we could see an increase in severe weather, but if showers dominate much of the morning, instability will be lower. Look for gusty damaging winds, possible hail, and an isolated tornado can not be ruled out should severe weather develop. After this system, we dry out into the weekend with seasonable temperatures with a chance of showers Tuesday night into Wednesday.
